2027 Leksell Gamma Knife Society Meeting in Turkey
The journey continues and we continue to lead together!
We’re delighted to announce that the next Leksell Gamma Knife Society Meeting will be held in Istanbul in 2027. Thank you to Prof. Selçuk Peker for graciously accepting the role of Scientific President and host.
Prof. Peker is a globally respected neurosurgeon and a pioneer in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. He leads the Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Center and Movement Disorder Surgery Program at Koç University Hospital, which became an International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS) Certified Center in 2022. His clinical expertise spans brain tumors, vascular malformations, trigeminal neuralgia, epilepsy, and movement disorders, and he brings a wealth of experience and vision to the Society.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Veronica Chiang, Scientific President of this year’s meeting, for her exceptional leadership and dedication. Her contributions have set a strong foundation for the future.
